Baker Stickland Environmental Limited was founded in September 2006 to meet the growing need indicated by our clients for a high quality Air Conditioning design and installation service. Seen today, along with all other ceiling mounted service equipment, as an integral part of a suspended ceiling installation, it was a natural development for Baker Stickland to develop this new and exciting arm to their already successful operations.

The company is already outperforming all expectations with a forecasted turnover over of £2 million in its first year of trading. It has already carried out major installations for Bear Stearns, Boots the Chemist, Trafigura, The Institute of London Underwriters and Barley Construction and momentum is high.

As with all of the Baker Stickland team, the Managing Director of Baker Stickland Environmental, Greg Tisdell, has a vast experience and knowledge of all building services, and in particular Air Conditioning.

Greg has gained his 30 years experience from working with some of the largest service contractors in the UK and we are extremely pleased that he has taken on this new challenge, to develop this completely new Building Services Company.

Greg heads up a similarly experienced design team, and installation team and is currently overseeing all new installations personally to ensure his high standards are maintained.

Baker Stickland have been providing Interior Refurbishment and Fit-Out services since 1969 and have gained an unrivalled position within the Industry with a reputation for Quality, Value Engineering and Imagination.

Over their 38 years in the Industry we have learnt a considerable amount about what makes a project a success. When combining many specialist trades within a project , whether large or small, the success, or indeed failure, relies on those specialists.

By having another vital facet of any project, in-house, we can be in greater control of our destiny and guarantee to deliver a project on time and to budget.

Staircase

This shows the complicated shapes that can be fabricated from drylining materials. Although parts of this fabrication were precast GRG solutions, the whole staircase has been fabricated from drylining materials.

The architect for this project had whittled from a large piece of balsa wood the shapes and profiles of the staircase he wanted to achieve. Our design department had to then convert this model into 3D and manufacturing drawings to enable construction. The staircase was finished with a skim coat of plaster and emulsion painted.
