many of our products, our Cable Managed Meeting Room Tables
were initially designed
to
fulfil the specific needs of a valued client.
The
Brief was for completely "Cable Free" appearance
in their Boardrooms and multi
purpose
meeting rooms.
Having
established that the existing Market Place could not satisfy
their requirements,
our
client approached the Baker Stickland Design Department for
help in the ergonomic and
functional
design of
two types of table, as pictured.
Utilising
our considerable design experience of cable managed products
and bespoke
furniture,
we carried out a full analysis of our clients IT, and connectivity
requirements.
Armed
with this information, we have compiled designs which fully
caters for every possible
connection
requirement and allow the cable flaps to be completely close,
even when
accommodating
equipment fitted with large transformer plugs .
This
in depth analysis has ensured that the "Cable Free"
appearance is completely achieved.
We
have two principle designs which are significantly different.
Type
1. High Quality Boardroom table. Beautifully manufactured
in MDF and veneered in the
finish
of your choice. The finish of these tables is unrivalled.
The services are concealed within
a deeply recessed
pedestal. To ensure the table is adaptable to future requirements,
the
pedestal incorporates
hinged adjustable height equipment shelves and unobtrusive
doors
to
both sides to flexibly deal with current and future "Wire
Management" requirements.
Type
2. Functional and economical Meeting Room Tables,
with powder coated steel frames
and
cables managed legs, with veneered tops. Manufactured with
colours and veneers of your
choice, these tables are superb for multipurpose meeting
rooms that are used for conventional
meetings
with presentations, and perhaps IT training. In fact the tables
are perfect where
multiple
laptops and presentation equipment might be required with
complete connectivity.
We
are able to design the tables around your specific function
and size requirements,and
by
using
the latest manufacturing techniques, we are able to produce
the tables surprisingly
economically
and quickly. Delivery and installation is usually within 4
to 6 weeks.
The tables are totally wire managed with concealed
access panels and hinged tops to ease both installation
and
amendments. The design makes your phone and
laptop
connections, both power and data, a breeze,
with
instant connections ready for your presentations.
Fully
earthed and totally compliant with the latest
wiring
regulations.
